Apply to serve on Team

Team Members make Hesed possible by volunteering in many capacities.  People with a variety of gifts are needed and wanted on the team.  Team members come from all over North Carolina and sometimes from out of state. Read this information and apply to serve the Hesed Guests!

• Team applications must be submitted at least 3 to 4 months before a scheduled weekend.  (If running late, please contact us as late applications are sometimes accepted.)

• Applications are wanted from people with disabilities as well as people without disabilities. 

• Applications are welcomed from persons who have previously attended Hesed OR Lutheran Via de Cristo, Presbyterian Pilgrimage, Arise (youth), Methodist Emmaus Walk, Tres Dias, Kairos Ministry (Prisons) or similar program.  Also known as the fourth day community.

• There are three planning days that team members need to attend.  On planning days the team gathers to pray, worship and prepare.  It is very important that all team members attend these Saturdays.

• Team members arrive on Thursday at Camp Royall to set up and finish preparations.  Guests arrive on Friday morning.
